Cloud migration methods for Confluence

Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (recommended)
The Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant is a free tool that can be installed on your Confluence Data Center instance. The migration assistant is the easiest and most reliable way to move from Data Center to Confluence Cloud.

Use this method to migrate:
some spaces to Cloud
everything to a new Cloud site
to a new or existing Cloud site
your data all at once (lift and shift) or in phases

Confluence Cloud space import
The Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant supports the vast majority of migrations, but there are some cases where another method may be required. An alternative to using the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant to complete a cloud-to-cloud migration is to perform a Confluence space export and import.
