Make changes to a managed account
You can edit the details of a managed account to keep it updated. Managed accounts are controlled by organizations or identity providers, and users cannot make changes directly. Unmanaged accounts allow users to update their details via their Atlassian profile at id.atlassian.com.
A user could be managed either in your organization or from an identity provider.
If the user is managed in your organization, the organization admin can only update their account.
If the user is synced from an identity provider, updates to the account can only be made from the identity provider.
