How is data encrypted in application tunnels?

Application tunnels follow the standard Atlassian approach for data encryption. Any customer data in Atlassian cloud apps is encrypted in transit over public networks using TLS 1.2+ with Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS) to protect it from unauthorized disclosure or modification.
