We’re renaming ‘products’ to ‘apps’

Atlassian 'products’ are now ‘apps’. You may see both terms used across our documentation as we roll out this terminology change. Here’s why we’re making this change

What is a maintenance window?

A maintenance window is a designated period of time during which we roll out changes that require some downtime of your Atlassian app. We use this window only when downtime can’t be avoided for the rollout of changes, bug fixes, and other essential maintenance.

Default maintenance window

The maintenance window occurs daily between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. in the timezone of the server of your Atlassian app. The timezone of the server is set based on the timezone of the person who signed up for the app.

To find out the timezone of your maintenance window, or if you want to change it, contact Support (Select Technical issues and bugs in the form).

Maintenance notifications

We only send notifications if a maintenance window deviates from the regular schedule.

For other essential maintenance, like urgent fixes, we'll notify you and other admins.
