We’re renaming ‘products’ to ‘apps’

Atlassian 'products’ are now ‘apps’. You may see both terms used across our documentation as we roll out this terminology change. Here’s why we’re making this change

Make external user policy non-billable

Who can do this?
Role: Organization admin
Atlassian Cloud: Atlassian Guard Standard
Atlassian Government Cloud: Not available

A non-billable policy allows you to apply a certain level of security. You’re able to require external users to verify their identity with a one-time password.

To make the external user policy non-billable:

  1. Go to Atlassian Administration. Select your organization if you have more than one.

  2. Select Security > External users.

  3. Select External user policy.

  4. Select one of these settings: one-time password or none.

  5. From the Settings page, select Make policy non-billable in the (•••) menu.

  6. Select Update.

When you edit an external user policy and make it non-billable, you’re unable to:

  • Enforce single sign-on
