Atlassian 'products’ are now ‘apps’. You may see both terms used across our documentation as we roll out this terminology change. Here’s why we’re making this change
Alerts are generated when a user activity or content scanning detection rule criteria is met.
For example, if text that may be a credit card number is detected in the content when a user publishes a page, a sensitive data detected alert will be sent.
Alerts can be viewed in Guard Detect, or may be sent to a third party tool, such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or your organization’s SIEM.

Get more or fewer alerts
Change the detection threshold so you get more or fewer alerts. Useful if you get a lot of false positives.
Track the status of an alert
Let your team know the status of an alert or track your investigation in Jira.
